Workforce investment boards and their strategic partners are central to the Sectorforce strategy. Each board has a majority of
business champions who work collaboratively with public, private and non-profit sector
organizations to build workforce strategies.
Sectorforce utilizes the
public
workforce investment system as a valuable provider of diverse employer services and as a channel partner for
industry associations, businesses and employers, as they work to embed staffing, outsourcing and other entrepreneurial solutions into the strategic and tactical plans.
The Employment and Training Administration of the US Department of Labor (ETA) encourages support for entrepreneurial and self-employment
training from local workforce investment boards, community colleges,
career and technical education institutions and other stakeholders.
Entrepreneurs, veteran-owned businesses and others can obtain entrepreneurial and self-employment guidance and training, along with a menu of staffing, shared employment and other business performance outsourcing solutions, which include: human resource, risk and disability management and employee benefits administration.
